Leo's showcareer

Has been cut short. My beautiful sweet Leo, God had other plans for you. On February 6, 2010 disaster struck Satsanga kennels. When the neighbours cut their pavement, a almost 2 meter long rinkhals Cobra sought refuge in our large dogrun. Needless to say it did not survive. Forever the puppy, Leo's curiosity got the better of him and costs him his life. There are no words to express the sorrow and dispear I am feeling. It feels like the world has just died.

Leo's first appearance in 2010 just showed me that he is maturing into a beautiful adult and has got what it takes: Under judge Mrs. Fischer, Leo got Best Junior of Breed, Reserve Best of Breed and a Junior Working Group 2 at the Working and Herding Show at Goldfields on January 17, 2010.

Due to baby Nicolas Michael's unexpected early appearance on March 2nd and hospitalization of myself from February 24th, Leo was not shown during his prime puppy time. However, on August 22nd, the time felt right to set foot in the showring again. Leo did me so proud strutting his stuff as if there was never a break. He showed like a pro and was awarded the breed puppy, Reserve Winners dog as well as a puppy working group 2nd place under judge Martine Croeser RSA, at the Goldfields Kennel Club All Breed Championship show, owner handled. Well done my boy, you're just so gorgeous.

My sweet pudding, Reserve Best of Breed and a Mini-Grand Working Group 1st place under judge Mrs. Glenda De Taranto at the All Breeds show from SA Ladies KC. The competition was tough, especially competing against top specials at Group Level at the tender age of 5 months. Owner handled.

Leo is shining again. At the Eastern Districts Kennel Club All Breeds show at Goldfields on February 8, 2009 he gets the breed puppy amongst stiff competition and a puppy working group 4th place under judge Mr. J.C. Pieterse. Leo, this was fantastic. Owner handled.

Leo started his show career with a bang! Roodepoort Kennel Club All Breeds show at Goldfields on January 11, 2009 he gets the breed puppy, BoB, a Working Group 2nd place and a Puppy Working Group 1 under judge Mrs. Anita Bodenstein. Later, judge Mrs. Michele Colborne awarded him a Best in Show puppy 4th place and that at just 4 months and 1 week old. Leo was owner handled to his debut.

Sweet, outgoing and beautiful with excellent structure, Leo represents everything I could have possibly dreamt of and more from this mating. My sweet Leo, what a stunning boy you are.
